Former FATES WARNING Bassist's 16-Year-Old Son Pounds The Skins For OATH OF INSANITY

OATH OF INSANITY, the Milford, Connecticut-based old-school thrash band featuring 16-year-old drummer Joey DiBiase (son of former FATES WARNING bassist Joe DiBiase),has completed work on a five-song EP with producer (and drummer for TOXIC HOLOCAUST, KINGDOM OF SORROW and JASTA) Nick Bellmore at Dexters Lab Recording in Milford. The effort contains four original songs as well as a cover version of the EXODUS classic "Metal Command". Since the EP was recorded, OATH OF INSANITY has written four more songs, which "show great progress in [the band's] songwriting prowess," according to a press release.

OATH OF INSANITY's lineup includes 21-year-old guitar prodigy Joey Concepcion, who has previously recorded with Mike Vescera, former lead singer for LOUDNESS, OBSESSION, and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. The band is rounded out by Dan McVerry on vocals and bass guitar, and newcomer Andrew O'Conner on guitar.
